About the Expert, Dr. Wahls

Using the principles of functional medicine, including diet, exercise, lifestyle modifications, and physical therapy interventions, Dr. Wahls was able to fully recover from secondary progressive multiple sclerosis.

 

After being confined to a tilt-recline wheelchair for 4 years, she now lives a fully mobile life, riding her bike to work everyday. Using the same principles that led to her recovery, Dr. Wahls has created The Wahls Protocol®, a fully comprehensive program that guides you towards recovery.
